Losing Color, Only To Find It Again

I’m settling back in after teaching for two weeks at ProChemical and Dye in Massachusetts. The first week was Dyeing to Discharge, which I have mentioned here and here. Above, Martha Robinson discusses some of her work in the workshop. So many students did gorgeous work!

For a participant’s perspective, see what Jeanne Marklin had to say about the class.

While you are at her blog, check out her newest post on the exhibit which just opened at the Bennington Art Guild Gallery in Massachusetts.

Thanks, Jeanne, for posting about the class. Now that I nearly unpacked, it is time to download more of my pictures!

They all should be smiling by the look of the work on the walls. Beautiful.

Carol, it was so much fun to learn discharge with you! I’m looking forward to making a lot more fabric, and knowing that when I dye something and it didn’t come out the way I planned, I can always discharge it. Thanks for another great workshop!

Oh it looks like way too much fun! So sad to have missed it!
